United Labels gripped by Bieber Fever

Münster, 28/09/11 - United Labels AG, Münster/Germany, has added "Justin Bieber" to its extensive licence portfolio. Boasting all-time favourites such as Snoopy, The Simpsons and Mickey Mouse, the company's impressive portfolio will now also include a top-class musician for the very first time. In addition to featuring on various textile products, the Justin Bieber brand is to play a prominent role within the giftware market in particular.


Around the globe, the name Justin Bieber is guaranteed to prompt high-pitched screams of adoration among young girls. Discovered on YouTube, the 17-year-old Canadian heart-throb has captured the hearts of his international fan base and has certainly come along way in just two years. He has amassed dozens of prestigious awards and has made it to the very top of the music business in terms of global impact and popularity. In 2010, his first album jumped to number one in the US charts, making Bieber the youngest solo artist in forty years to achieve instant fame within this market. He has also made it to the top in Germany, where he regularly enjoys success in the charts as soon as a new single is released. Since February 2011, the youngster has even been rubbing shoulders with some of the biggest celebrities of recent decades – in the form of a lifelike wax figure exhibited at Madame Tussauds.


From late 2011 onwards, Justin Bieber will also be featured on licensed merchandise marketed by United Labels.
